Nederland, Overijssel, Gemeente Olst, 03-10-2010; stuw Olst, restant van de IJssellinie (waterlinie) gebouwd tijdens de Koude Oorlog. Lokatie van de stuw in rivier de IJssel, de betonnen weg vormde de ondergrond van de afsluitbare pijlerdam die uitkwam op het landhoofd (de betonnen muur). Oorspronkelijk stond op beide oevers zo'n landhoofd waartegen, aan de rivierzijde caissons afgezonken konden worden. Hierdoor zou het rivierwater het omliggende land doen overstromen (innunderen). Ook de haven voor de caissons, stroomopwaarts (rechtsonder), is nog aanwezig..Barrage Olst, remnant of the IJssel line (water line) was built during the Cold War. Location of the Barrage in the river IJssel, under the concrete road was the pillar dam, at the end of the road the and abutment (the concrete wall). Originally, such abutments were on both banks and were used to position caissons (on the river side) that subsequently could be sunk. This would make the river flood the surrounding land (inundation).
